Rope access, climbing and abseiling are usually associated with dangerous sports and military operations.

However, commercial industrial rope access is a growing industry and its safety records are high, especially considering the accidents caused by using ladders incorrectly and labourers working from scaffold without correct use of harness and anchor points.
